Project Overview
Square Foot Gardening Foundation engaged me to develop an email welcome journey designed to nurture new subscribers, foster a sense of community, and inspire long-term engagement. The goal was to create a warm, personalized introduction to the Foundation’s mission while promoting educational resources, community involvement, and donor opportunities.

Created a five-part email sequence triggered by newsletter sign-ups, featuring:
A friendly welcome email with a free gardening resource.
A gardener survey to personalize future communications.
An inspiring gardener story showcasing the mental health benefits of gardening.
A foundation spotlight highlighting global humanitarian efforts.
A donation appeal encouraging ongoing support for community programs.
Used YOU-centered language to make subscribers feel valued and connected.
Aligned messaging with the Foundation’s brand and broader outreach strategy.
Results
